Raja V S is a creative mind pursuing a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from The University of Texas at Austin. With a commitment to building brands with digital in mind, content at heart, and strategy at its core, Raja has gained experience in various areas of design, research, and development. Currently, as a Graduate Student Designer at the Microsoft/UT Collaborative for Access and Equity, Raja is working on identifying accessibility strategies and technology tools to develop an inclusive learning platform for students experiencing disabilities at The University of Texas at Austin. In the past, Raja has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution, managing a class of 35+ students and conducting large-scale research on private access medical databases. Prior to pursuing his Master's degree, Raja gained hands-on experience as a Content Designer and Product Specialist at Zoho, where he was responsible for establishing and contributing to the growth of Zoho's agile UX design process. He collaborated with project managers, developers, and other designers to make sure everyone was on the same page with content. Raja also created wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, low/high fidelity wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and content design ideas. He ran user interview and testing sessions, reducing the average handling time (AHT) by 30% and headcount by 11%. Raja's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University and a High School degree from SBOA School & Junior College. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from The University of Texas at Austin. Raja's technical skills include design, SQL, AI, research scientist, JavaScript, test, product designer, and UI. With 1.28 years of relevant experience, Raja is a driven and dedicated professional with a passion for creating inclusive and accessible digital experiences.
